Where do we deliver?

We deliver most of our firewood, stove and outdoor products nationwide. Hot Tubs and Sauna’s are only delivered in Scotland. Postcode restrictions may apply to some of our stoves.

We do not currently offer delivery to Northern Ireland however this is something we are currently looking into. We are hoping we will be able to offer delivery for some of our products to Northern Ireland soon.

How will my order be delivered?

Depending on what you purchase, your order may be delivered in one of the following ways:

  • For palleted items such as Logs, Briquettes, Stoves and Outdoor Heaters, these will be delivered in our local area (Stirling, Falkirk and surrounding) with our own vehicles.
  • For similar deliveries further afield, delivery will be made by a pallet distribution network, currently Palletline.
  • For smaller items such as our log boxes, mini packs and accessories, these will be delivered by our chosen courier, APC Overnight.
  • For our LogDrop delivery service, these will be made by our own vehicles.
  • For Kirami Hot Tubs and Saunas these will be made with our own vehicles, or that of our colleagues at Kirami UK. Deliveries for hot tubs and saunas are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss or visit our showroom to speak to one of the team.

Pallet Deliveries with our own vehicles

We currently have two vehicles operating for local deliveries – one 12T vehicle and one smaller 7.5T vehicle. Most deliveries will be done using our 12T vehicle, which is similar in size to a bin lorry.

If there is restricted access to your property, such as a narrow street, please contact us prior to ordering, so we can assess if delivery is possible or arrange delivery in our smaller vehicle.

We do not deliver palleted products in a vehicle smaller than our 7.5T truck, such as a van. If access to your property is only via a van, please consider our LogDrop service.

Deliveries of palletised goods can be anytime between 8.30am and 5.30pm. During exceptionally busy times, they may be delivered outside of these times. Refusal of a delivery outside of these times will be a breach of our terms and conditions and a re-delivery or cancellation charge may apply.

Pallet Deliveries via Palletline

Vehicles will usually be delivery trucks with a tail-lift so that pallets can be lowered by the driver. The normal lorry size is an 18-tonne lorry up to 13m long (similar to most bin lorries). If there is restricted access to your property, such as a narrow street, please contact us prior to ordering, so we can assess if delivery is possible. It is possible to request a smaller vehicle for delivery, however, this is totally dependent on what the depot local to you has available.

Deliveries made via Palletline are on a kerbside delivery service, and whilst some drivers may wheel the pallet into your garage, this is not guaranteed. Your order is placed on the understanding that kerbside delivery is acceptable.

Please be aware that it is down to the driver’s discretion on the day as to whether he/she may wheel the pallet further than kerbside. For insurance purposes, Palletline will not reverse onto domestic household driveways.

Deliveries of palletised goods can be anytime between 8am and 6pm. During exceptionally busy times, they may be delivered outside of these times. Refusal of a delivery outside of these times will be a breach of our terms and conditions and a re-delivery or cancellation charge may apply.

Deliveries via APC Overnight

We normally use APC for the delivery of products, including log boxes, mini packs, accessories and other smaller items.

Where possible, we aim to ship out the same working day if ordered before 12pm. Delivery is usually next working day or at most two working days to the majority of UK postcodes.
These delivery times can extend due to demand on us and the delivery network during busy periods, especially in the run-up to Christmas.

For orders with multiple parcels, it is not uncommon for the consignment to be split over two delivery days, so please allow 7 days from the date of order before alerting us to a delayed delivery.

Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands or Islands may take slightly longer.  For some products, we may use an alternative courier if APC don’t cover that area.

Deliveries with our LogDrop service

Our LogDrop service is currently only available to some postcodes in our local area (Stirling, Falkirk and surrounding). For a full list of postcodes covered in our LogDrop zone please click here.

LogDrop deliveries may be made in one of our larger delivery vehicles, or in our Ford Transit van. If you have restricted access and require a van for your delivery, please contact us prior to placing your order to check availability.

LogDrop deliveries can be anytime between 8.30am and 5.30pm.

Delivery ETA’s and tracking information

For most palleted products, such as firewood, briquettes, stoves and outdoor heaters, you’ll be asked to select your preferred delivery date at checkout when placing your order online or over the phone. In most cases, we deliver on your preferred date.

Please be aware that the delivery date is not guaranteed and whilst we make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen circumstances. Calido Fuels Limited will not accept liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products on the delivery date specified. Calido Fuels Limited will not be held liable for any loss of earnings as a result of a non-delivery.

We do not offer a specific delivery date for some PA, PH, IV, KW HS & ZE postcodes.  If you need the delivery on a specific date in one of these postcode areas, please contact us before ordering. We do not guarantee any delivery date to Northern or Southern Ireland.

For Palletline deliveries:

Once your order enters the pallet network, you will receive a notification from our courier confirming dispatch, along with tracking information.

On the day of delivery, once the pallet has been loaded onto the delivery vehicle, you will also receive a text and/or email with an estimated time of arrival, so you know when to expect your order. If you do not receive a message in the morning, this normally means your delivery is scheduled for an afternoon run.

Pallet delivery times are estimates only and can change during the course of the day due to the size and weight of palletised goods, traffic conditions, delays at delivery points and the requirement for HGV drivers to adhere to strict driving hours and mandatory rest breaks.

For Parcel deliveries:

You will receive an email from us when we despatch your order which contains a tracking link. Once the parcel is despatched from our local depot, normally around 8pm on the day of despatch, you will be able to track your order as it travels through the delivery network.

On the day of delivery, you will receive an email and/or text from APC confirming a two-hour delivery window.

If we need to use an alternative courier, they usually offer parcel updates too. From time to time, there may be issues with the tracking systems of the third-party companies we use. Calido Fuels Limited have no control over this.

For Local Pallet deliveries and our LogDrop service:

You will receive an email from us on the evening before delivery (or Friday if your delivery is scheduled for Monday). This will contain a delivery window - 8.30am – 10.30am, 10.00am – 1.00pm, 12.30pm – 3.00pm or 2.30pm – 5.00pm.

Our driver will call approximately 20-30 minutes prior to arrival.

Please note that pallet delivery ETAs are indicative only and are not guaranteed.

On occasion, it may be that your order is delivered via Palletline due to annual leave or busy periods. If this is the case and you have special requirements, such as access to your property requiring a small vehicle, we may call you to rearrange your delivery to another day.

How are products on pallets delivered?

We use tail-lift delivery vehicles and pallet trucks to move the pallets.

Pallet trucks can only be used on firm, level ground such as concrete, tarmac or monoblock. We cannot use them on gravel, grass, mud or steep slopes.
Terrain must be relatively level to operate the tail-lift. This should be considered for sites on a slope, as it may be too dangerous to unload the vehicle.

If either of the above applies to your property, please contact us before placing an order.

For firewood deliveries with restricted access, please consider our
netted products or half pallets of briquettes, which may be easier for you to move by hand if required.
